HOW INCONSISTENCY EFFECT YOUR BUSINESS NEGATIVELY.
     

I'm the world worst consumer. I don't buy much myself and I don't spend any time shopping for fun, because for me it's not fun, so when I do shop, I take notice, and that truly does make me the worst consumer.
 This means I have high expectations. I expect "things " to happen all the time, every time.  Because of this, I thought I would share a word with you about THE VALUE OF CONSISTENCY, and the impact it has on your sales, both directly and indirectly.
 INCONSISTENCY in business affects all of us every day in some way. It's just that we usually call it something else, like service or poor product or something other than the fact that we compare one visit to the next.
But consider this.
 If your doctor gives you an incorrect diagnosis, is it poor service?
If you go to your usual restaurant and the food is bad, is it poor product?
If your favourite dry cleaner suddenly damage one of your most cherished garments, is it poor product knowledge?

In all cases the answer would be YES! on that occasion, at least.  However, it may have been just once-off event. They were having a bad day, a product was tainted, a new employee made a mistake, whatever. In short,  they were inconsistent, that's all, and they slipped off, once.

WITH THAT IN MIND CONSIDER THIS....

Would you go back to doctor when he is playing with your life?  Would you risk some friends to the restaurant again when you don't really know if the food is going to be ok, leaving you to look silly?  Would you risk the new suit you at the dry cleaners again on the offer they made the mistake twice?

You see, service, product, location, value and all of the things we have learned in business are important.  BUT if of these things are not present in your business everyday, then you are losing customers everyday that they don't appear.

So what if it doesn't appear everyday, how do you combat that?

 First, you put performance indicators in your business to make sure you a check list of some kind that these things are present, something with which you can gauge the effectiveness of the elements of your business that directly affect your customers.

Second, make sure you have a plan in place to help you out if something  go wrong. If  you do have a day when the wheels fall off, make sure you know how to 'make good ' and at least, salvage the situation. If you don't, you have not only lost that customer, you have lost the ten  potential customers your unsatisfied customer would have brought. They would share their negative experience and that would  discourage them to patronize your product.

Some students may say, well...  Am still a student and got nothing to worry about; when I get to that bridge I will cross it! Remember that the very bridge that you are talking about, thousands of people that have graduated decades ago have not been able to cross it and you are about joining the queue.  It will be a lot more easier for you to know and experience what the labour market is while you are still a student than when you graduate .
At your graduation so much would be expected of you from those Who have invested into training you in school, that may lead to pressure.  Either self or parents sponsorship through the school, so much expenses have been made..
As a student however, you can still live comfortably and achieve great career accomplishment if you make the right strategic moves. Launching a business while in school will set you up for success and responsibility.
  There are so many unique  start-up business ideas for students that can turn out to become profitable business venture later on .
Below are some of the business ideas that you can start as a student..
BE CLEAR ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS VISION.
 *Do some research : what do people need or want? Think about your every day obstacles that you have encountered, how can it be soldved.
*What are you good at doing, perhaps you can start from that. Moneytize it.
For invention, what can you product that can make life better, safer, fairer, cheaper..  What can it be.
You can't know the extent of your abilities until you take up responsibilities... It only those who have gone far in their career that understand how far one can go..
Try your business ideas out today, don't fear failing it's just a sign that you are making progress...  Take the risk and you will thank me later....

TWO IMPORTANT FEATURES should be clearly noticed here.
1.The cracked  floor.
2. The charming beautiful face.

The cracked floor represents a breakthrough through diligence and perseverance. The volume of the cracked  floor depicts life challenges.  The volume leaves a visual impression on how hard one had to hit at the floor before it eventually crack .
*The floor has been smooth without the breakthrough. No breakthrough , no reward of a charming beautiful face (success ).  To break through new grounds focus is a key.  distract you.  Life is full of distractions. Before break through takes place FOCUS is needed. One needs diligence to accomplish great task, great dreams and potentials in life. One of my mentors, Tony Robbin says "WHERE FOCUS FLOWS ENERGY GOES " most people are not patient enough to get to the greatness they envision. They pick up a task to work on themselves in getting better, smarter, richer more eloquent in their communication skills within the 4th to 5th month they give uo.  How can you be a world champion with just 5months test...  Keep at it.  Don't quit in your making process. The book of proverbs says : seeth thou a MAN DILIGENT in his work, he shall stand before great men and not mere men.
DILIGENCE means to repeatedly do a task UNTILL you win. In most cases great men set a LIFE long goal of diligence towards their accomplishments. Success is a journey not a destination, therefore vision abounds.

The biggest enemy of our progress in life are not our friends, family members, background but COMFORT ZONE. Amazingly one can make the above mentioned group of people ones comfort zone. While I was undergraduate in the university, some of my friends would describe during the end of each the semester that "THEY CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME AND EAT THEIR MAMA'S DELICIOUS MEALS! Their  family have become their comfort zone not to train their mind on how to creatively make money. That's a comfort zone.
Crack the hardened floor open that's where your treasure is...

 THE CHARMING BEAUTIFUL FACE.
There are some ethics we have learnt from our parents that are still life principles for success.
I. Do your housework before you play.
ii. Eat your food before you eat your desserts.
iii. No pain no gain.
iv. Wash plate before you eat.
When ever I see good cars drive by, good houses and multi-million factory or company owned by genuine means I become fascinated by the amount of diligence such owners had put in to achieve all that.
Hard work creates temporal pain while laziness creates life long regret.
Do not quite too soon, keep hitting the ground, create your crack,..  Hit until your treasure has no reason not to reveal its self to you.
If your spiritual life is not as you wanted, persevere, pray even why you don't feel like until it becomes a habit.

 You are not too young or too old to achieve big dreams and goals. Leave your indelible mark on the sand of time.
Diligence hitting at a task creates cracks while cracks makes the opening to your BEAUTY WITHIN...

An African proverb says that, Experience says it all,life is a great teacher. The life we live here on earth is like a school. It's is also like a class room as well as a teacher to those who recognizes that. Humans learn life lessons.
                                   Here is the truth, wether you have the knowledge or not we are in a school called life, each day is a lesson to be learned.  Wether you are prepared to take life classes and lessons or not, each day that roll by is a lesson either learnt or ignored at ones perils. Life rewards those who recognized that they are in the school called life with "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCES" while those who ignore life lessons,they become bereft of information which makes them POOR.

Being POOR which we may all know that it means P= Passing O= Over O= Opportunities R=Repeatedly .

 SYMBOLISMS in the ART work

However, there are some symbolic meanings in this work of art that I titled "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE "

there are four human figures in the art work. Three of the human figures are CHILDREN while in their midst is an OLD WOMAN. 

The old woman symbolizes EXPERIENCED OLD GENERATION while the CHILDREN symbolizes YOUNGER GENERATION  That depends on the "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE" of the OLDER GENERATION to fulfill their purpose, attain SUCCESS & make there dreams come through. 

TAKE NOTE: The OLD WOMAN as represented in the work symbolizes An Experienced source of knowledge. She has had the good, the bad, the ugly life has thrown at her. She has gone through the school of life which in record is her greatest teacher. 

The wrinkles on her face are symbolic. 

Each of the wrinkles depicts the lesson life has taught her which no one can bereft her of the everlasting lessons she has learned  for the good of mankind... 

The wrinkles on her face says it all of the ever impacting unwritten story to be shared to the benefit of the younger generation .

MEANINGS:

THE OLD WOMAN, that is full of "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE " in our present day society  means THE INPIRATIONAL BOOKS, GREAT PREACHERS, PASTORS, your creative  FRIENDS , LIFE COACHES, Articles like the ones You are reading now,  MATERIALS FROM THOSE WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL OR DOING GREAT IN THE FIELD OF ENDEAVORS.  All these sources of getting wisdom are LIKING TO THE OLD WOMAN IN THIS ART WORK. the are all sources of "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE "

      God has made everything available to us to become whom ever we dream of becoming, achieve any success we need in any area of our lives...  You have GONE TO THE EXPERIENCED By reading and developing your God's given abilities WITH THEIR MATERIALS,  you are tapping from their "WEALTH OF EXPERIENCES" 

THE EYES OF THE CHILDREN ARE BRIGHTER THAN THE OLD WOMANS EYES IN THIS ART WORK BUT BY WISDOM THE OLD WOMAN SEES FARTHER THAN THEY CAN SEE.  This means that, IN LIFE, what matters the most is not the financial eyes 👀  but INNER COMPELLING VISION! 

I have seen the blind people Who became successful in their chosen career BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEM ANY MAN WITHOUT VISION WHO EVER BECOME HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL!

2. Learn from the experienced. Get information from those Who are informed. 

3.GO to the church, seminar, conference, skill acquisition program to learn from the tall humans in our society.  "TALL HUMANS HERE MEANS WISE AND EXPERIENCE MEN AND WOMEN IN THE SOCIETY EVEN THE INTELLIGENT FRIENDS THAT YOU ARE OLDER THAN.

           THE STRENGTH OF CHARACTER
            IN YOUR EVERYDAY BUSINESS  

There are so many businesses ,careers, the use of talent and skills, investment opportunities that have all failed due to lack of  character. No matter how skillful, industrious an individual is, without character, he/she will achieve little or no success in business. Regrettably many pay more attention to business and career development without character development.
What is character?
 Character, according to English dictionary means, a distinguishing feature, a complex of mental ethical trait, marking a person or group. 

   Character is the most essential factor for any good success. The person you are today, your innermost character,is sum total of your choices and decisions in life up to this moment. Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "what you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear a word that you say.
When I say character I also mean a person of integrity in this context.  Integrity makes you responsible and reliable by people around you .
Here are ways for character development.
     1. It is learnable.  The good news is that character can be developed with time.
Proverbs 11:3 says "the integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.
